Que s’est-il passé dans le monde, après la guerre et l’après-guerre ?
La normalité.
Oui, la normalité. Dans l’état de normalité, on ne regarde pas autour de soi : tout autour se présente comme « normal », privé de l’excitation et de l’émotion des années d’urgence. L’homme tend à s’assoupir dans sa propre normalité, il oublie de réfléchir sur soi, perd l’habitude de juger, ne sait plus se demander qui il est.
C’est alors qu’il faut créer, artificiellement, l’état d’urgence : ce sont les poètes qui s’en chargent…

Anna Gaïotti est chorégraphe, danseuse, issue du monde de la performance et de la poésie. Depuis quinze ans, elle travaille notamment, de façon non-conventionnelle, avec des claquettes, instrument par lequel elle dialogue avec des musiciens, et qui fait le lien entre le mouvement et la musicalité.
Dans ce labo, comme elle l’a déjà fait à trois reprises, elle nous proposera d’interroger le terrain de sa dernière création, Rage, qui s’inspire du texte de Pier Paolo Pasolini, qui accompagne son film La Rabbia (1963). Ce texte, elle le redécouvre pendant la pandémie de 2021, et décide d’en faire le programme de sa prochaine pièce de danse (avec le danseur Clément De Brower et les musiciens Jean Bender et Léo Dupleix). La porte d’entrée, c’est l’ordinaire, le quotidien, pour s’en défaire ensuite…
La rage, nous dit Anna, c’est un mot qui déclenche des associations diverses. C’est une maladie bien référencée, qui affecte la bouche, les dents, la gorge, la voix… mais c’est aussi une ressource, qui nous « pousse vers l’avant, emmène dans le désir ou dans le mouvement », ou une façon d’exorciser…
Ce thème, il nous accompagnera, sans trop en parler. En laissant le mot faire son travail. L’entrée se fera en partant des outils d’Anna, qui s’est elle-même cultivée aux côtés de Min Tanaka, Rosalind Crisp (BMC), Mark Tompkins (composition en temps réel). Une grande place sera donnée au corps, à la perception et à son étrangeté, à l’environnement (la forêt notamment), au groupe, à nos désirs, à la possibilité d’être visible… ou non, et à notre capacité à saisir, à archiver (par l’écriture notamment) les gestes et expériences réalisées.
Ce labo est ouvert à toutes et tous, danseurs, artistes, écrivains, amateurs ou professionnels…
Frais pédagogiques : 175 euros, soit 35e/j (Tarif réduit : 130 euros)
- Adhésion à l’association : 5 euros
- Il est possible d’organiser un hébergement mutualisé en chambres doubles sur place (sur demande en amont), pour 16 euros par nuitée,
- une restauration collective en possible (courses faites en amont et cuisine à préparer ensemble) pour 15 euros par jour (petit déjeuner inclus).
- Il est possible d’organiser une navette pour la gare de Guéret ou la Souterraine en en faisant la demande suffisamment en amont.

People tend to become complacent in their own normality, forget to reflect on themselves, lose the habit of judging, and no longer know how to ask themselves who they are.

Anna Gaïotti is a choreographer and dancer with a background in performance art and poetry. For the past fifteen years, she has worked, notably in an unconventional way, with tap dancing, an instrument through which she engages in dialogue with musicians and which connects movement and musicality.
In this workshop, as she has already done three times, she will invite us to explore the themes of her latest creation, Rage, which draws inspiration from Pier Paolo Pasolini’s text accompanying his film La Rabbia (1963). She rediscovered this text during the 2021 pandemic and decided to make it the program for her next dance piece (with dancer Clément De Brower and musicians Jean Bender and Léo Dupleix). Rage, Anna tells us, is a word that triggers diverse associations. It’s a well-documented illness that affects the mouth, teeth, throat, voice… but it’s also a resource that “pushes us forward, leads us into desire or movement,” or a way to exorcise…
This theme will accompany us, without dwelling on it too much. Letting the word do its work. The approach will begin with Anna’s own tools, developed alongside Min Tanaka, Rosalind Crisp (BMC), and Mark Tompkins (real-time composition). A significant focus will be placed on the body, perception and its inherent strangeness, the environment (particularly the forest), the group dynamic, our desires, the possibility of being visible… or invisible, and our capacity to capture and archive (through writing, in particular) the gestures and experiences we undertake.
This workshop is open to everyone: dancers, artists, writers, amateurs, and professionals alike.
Tuition fees: €175, or €35/day (Reduced rate: €130)
Association membership: €5
Shared accommodation in double rooms can be arranged on-site (upon prior request) for €16 per night.
Meals can also be provided together (shopping done in advance and cooking done together) for €15 per day (breakfast included).
A shuttle service to Guéret or La Souterraine train stations can be arranged with sufficient advance notice.
